Hello there! Just a quick note to show you how big our boys are now!
As you can imagine, our hands have been very full these past few months. They’ve been potty training (going well!), seeing new places, and basically taking charge of our house. Most of the time, it’s loud, it’s messy, and it’s crazy, but these boys are so hilarious and sweet that we just love life right now.

Hoping to share an update each weekend starting with today. See you next time!
What does the cow say? Moooooooooooo!
The boys were the cutest cows ever for Halloween this year. They did an amazing job trick-or-treating! After the first house, they totally got into the groove.
Adrian even banged on a door that was slightly cracked open saying, “Open! Open!”
And after we would finish getting candy, Adrian would say, “Again! Again!”
One of the best parts was watching the boys each carry their own buckets while holding our hands and walking down the sidewalks. They must have been really fascinated with going out at night when it is so dark.
Lots of fun in my parent’s neighborhood for Halloween this year. But sorry, boys. No candy until you’re TEN. (You think I’m joking).
Well, hello! It’s been way too long since I’ve posted here. Is anyone still out there?
With literally thousands of photos and videos between me and Jing, there is no way I could update this blog with everything we’ve been up to in the past several weeks. Here are a few of the boys at the park recently.
The boys are growing like weeds. They talk, sing, dance, laugh, play, run, and eat so much! It’s heartbreaking knowing we cannot possibly take a photo or video of every hilarious, witty, smart, and sweet thing they do. But we are living life and enjoying every minute of it.
I’ve said it a thousand times and I’ll say it before: The days are long, but the years are short. Many days can feel like an upward battle. The morning rush to get the boys ready, fed, and changed for day care. The commute to work. The long 9 hours at our office cubicles. The dash to daycare and back home, dinner-baths-playtime-bedtime. Whew! Things are never dull around our household.
I’ll be sure to put out a two-year update next week. I NEED to put out a two-year update next week.
Can you believe it? They’re turning two.
Our little babies have made it around the sun twice. It’s incredible.
Hooray for another year! Today marks our four year wedding anniversary. Four years of marriage and two kiddos later… we couldn’t be more blessed, happy… or exhausted!
Just wanted to share some memories of our special day because we can’t help but love to relive it as much as possible. It’s been a crazy ride since and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

What’s better than a handwritten note? A handmade card!
I just finished my largest order ever, a set of 25 greeting cards! The cards were written with pointed pen, specifically a Zebra G nib and Sumi ink. The cards were white smooth A2 cards & envelopes.
Here’s a close up of each card!
I love these motivational quotes.
So much so that I am very close to making them into larger prints!!!
You know, in my spare time… 🙂 🙂

I recently was asked by Tra of Two Twenty Photos to be a model for her upcoming Women Beauty Portrait line. While I was super excited and honored, I was concerned that I had no modeling experience whatsoever! Plus, I’ve watched my fair share of Top Model, so I thought, it can’t be that bad, could it? Well, it wasn’t BAD. But it was certainly hard!!! Modeling looks easy, but it takes some serious skill! Yep, that’s me, trying to pose like I know what I’m doing… The crazy thing is, every time I thought I was posing just fine, Tra would make me look in a different direction or place a hand somewhere unexpected or twist my body in a way that I have not been able to twist in a long time. It felt awkward, uncomfortable, and silly at times. But I trusted her and knew she had a vision. Tra shared these photos with me the other day and I was astonished! To finally see through the photographer’s eyes brought everything full circle and I couldn’t be more proud of the results. Well, hello, pretty cool looking wall. Don’t mind me, I’m just going to stand here and attempt to look pretty… Ok, candid photos officially are THE BEST. Even if my laugh was not entirely natural and I had to tell myself a joke just to get it out. 🙂 🙂 Big thank you to Tra for including me in such an amazing project! The experience was one I will always treasure! Here’s a very sweet note Tra wrote in one of the photos she featured on her Instagram. It touched my heart:
My beautiful friend Sharisse (@piecescalligraphy) to model for my Women Beauty Portrait line yesterday. She wore this short violet dress for her engagement photos 3 or 4 years ago. Now that she had the twins, she was so excited to be able to get into it again. To make it a little extra special, I suggested that we add flowers to her hair. Next thing you know, I’m giving her an up-do. Then the tulle dress came on and all of a sudden, it felt so magical. She looked like a princess.
We were giddy like little girls that got to play dress up. It felt like the ballgown that she didn’t get to wear for her wedding.
