Praying for Boston

pray for boston

Yesterday, a sad and shocking thing happened in Boston. There people died and at least 175 people were injured as the result of two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

The Boston Marathon – and any race for that matter – is such a positive, enthusiastic event, and it’s unbelievable that something like this happened. Praying that the family and friends of those who were affected, and for all of the rest of us as well, find comfort and peace.

As SkinnyRunner pointed out, it’s cliche to remind ourselves to hug our loved ones and tell them how much we love them, but it is ever so true. We never know when it is “our time,” so we must cherish each moment with those we love and live our lives to the fullest.

To our future babies, we love you so much already and I can’t imagine life without you both. Is it possible to miss you already and we haven’t even met you yet? Well, I’ll tell ya that it’s possible. Our love for you is so deep that it hurts. This world is a crazy place, but we can’t forget all of the heroes and angels that are by our side through every tragedy and heartbreak. Tons of people rushed to the scene at Boston, revealing their bravery and care for others that will never fade. Even though you babies are entering a world in which the unheard of is happening more than we could ever have imagined, have faith and trust that good will always prevail.

I'd love to hear from you!
