Five on Friday!!!

Here are five things I’m lovin’ this Friday. Hope you’re enjoying your day and that you have an awesome weekend planned ahead!!!

1. December Dust Off: A Workout Challenge

Four days into this new workout challenge, my legs are sore and my arms ache, but I feel GREAT! Thanks to Lindsay from Toned After Twins, I joined a workout challenge group for the month of December! The group consists of a small group of women from different parts of the world. We root each other on, support each other, and share healthy recipe ideas and motivation. Thank GOODNESS for the accountability and push to stop making excuses and get off my butt. Now if only I could work on that “healthier eating” part…

2. 8 Steps to Having Wildly Productive Mornings

Ever wonder how you can do more in less time? Me, too. ALL. THE. TIME. I am constantly re-writing to-do lists, trying to sort out the zillions of thoughts racing in my head, and figuring out how to juggle just one more task on my plate. I found this great article via Amy Lynn Andrews and LOVED it! List posts are always so helpful.

The first two steps I am going to focus on are: 1) Turn my phone off and placing it in another room, and 2) Prepare the night before. Two things I already knew to do, but will vow to REALLY stick to them this time!

3. Modern Calligraphy

If you didn’t know already, I love anything and everything related to fonts, calligraphy, lettering, writing styles, and more. I am especially loving the calligraphy on My Baby Olive Juice. I’ve slowly been trying to work on my calligraphy, but just haven’t fully committed to it. Seeing Jody’s work inspires me to get practicing and start buying some supplies!

4. Paleo Running Mama

My new favorite running/mom blogger! I found Michele’s Paleo Running Mama blog via Hungry Runner Girl and instantly loved her blog. Not to mention the deeeee-licious eats and recipes she shares quite often. I don’t follow the Paleo diet, but from hearing tons about it and seeing it almost everywhere, I get more and more interested in at least incorporating 1-2 Paleo days (not just meals) in our lives.

5. Egg to Eggi: A Giveaway!

That’s right!!! Inspired by none other than F.R.I.E.N.D.S., I am thinking of “producing” a mini “series” on the boys, highlighting and capturing their hilarious lives and rambunctious little selves.
